Ogham

Available for Android on Google Play

Contains the original 20 Ogham feda or "runes" of the Ancient Celts. Each Ogham character symbolises a letter, and they were carved into wood, skin, bone and stone in ancient times.

Each Ogham also symbolises a tree or plant, and contains mysterious and magical Druid lore, some of which is still accessible. Let this knowledge illuminate the world around you, and help you to better understand your own journey through life. The Ogham largely offers protection through knowledge and folk wisdom.

Use this Ogham app to:
- learn the Ogham
- learn about the trees and plants (image, description, location, uses, herbal) that make up the Ogham
- prophesy the future (fortune telling)
- better understand the past or present
- get in touch with your ancient roots (Celtic areas such as Ireland, Wales, Cornwall, Scotland, Brittany and even England, back in the day)

You can edit the Ogham names and descriptions to suit your own preferences and interpretations.

This Ogham app supports both one stave (Druid stick) and three staves (Weavers' sticks)

Details of herbal applications for informational purposes only and not intended to replace the medical expertise of your herbal practitioner.

The app will need a bit of time to install the first time it runs.

Suggestions for development gladly received.

  1. Loved this app when I had a Galaxy S3. Upgraded to Galaxy S5, and now it crashes immediately on startup. Any ideas?

    1. Hi Bob. Sorry to hear about this. The app hasn't actually changed at all. I think it's probably down to an overactive anti-virus in the S5. I'm so sorry but I'm a one-man operation and my brain has turned to mush from Lyme disease for the last few years and I haven't been able to do any development work. As soon as I'm able, I'll get this sorted, but unfortunately I can't say when this will be. I'll let you know though. Thanks for getting in touch.
